Palais Hirsch
The building, commissioned by the Elector and built by Alessandro Galli da Bibiena in 1748 on the then newly laid out market square, was occupied by Jesuit Father Seedorf, the educator and confessor of the young Elector Carl Theodor. Subsequently, the building was used by the Minister of State Baron von Zettwitz and Count Christian Reichsgraf von Oberndorff. From 1818 it was privately owned as the "Goldener Hirsch" inn and hotel. Today it serves as a municipal building for representative purposes.
