Arrival by car or bus
Coming from Frankfurt A 6 in the direction of Heilbronn / Stuttgart, after the Mannheim interchange take the Mannheim-Schwetzingen exit.
Coming from Stuttgart/Heilbronn A 6 in the direction of Mannheim/Frankfurt, after the Walldorf junction take the Schwetzingen-Hockenheim exit.
Coming from Basel/Karlsruhe A 5 in the direction of Heidelberg/Darmstadt, after the Walldorf junction exit Heidelberg-Schwetzingen
Coming from Cologne/Saarbrücken/Ludwigshafen A 61 in the direction of Speyer/Stuttgart, at Hockenheimer Dreieck change to A 6 in the direction of Mannheim/Frankfurt, after Hockenheimer Dreieck exit Mannheim-Schwetzingen
In Schwetzingen there is no "environmental zone", i.e. you do not need a fine dust sticker on your vehicle within the city of Schwetzingen.

Arrival by public transport
Schwetzingen can be reached by train from Mannheim or Karlsruhe.
Alternatively, you can reach Schwetzingen from Mannheim by bus BRN 710.
Coming from Heidelberg, you can reach Schwetzingen by tram: line 22 towards Eppelheim. At the terminus Eppelheim/Kirchheimer Straße change to bus BRN 713 to Schwetzingen Schlossplatz.
From Heidelberg or Speyer you can get to Schwetzingen by bus BRN 717.
