Schwetzingen SWR Festival

The Schwetzingen SWR Festival has been presenting operas and concerts for over 60 years. With over 500 radio broadcasts annually, they are the world's largest radio festival for classical music. In keeping with the "Schwetzingen Dramaturgy" - "Rediscover the old, initiate the new, give young talent a chance" - rediscoveries of the 18th century stand alongside world premieres, chamber and orchestral concerts alongside piano and song recitals on the festival programme. In addition to world-class artists, the festival also offers young performers a podium.
