Description
Bertha Benz set out under a cloak of secrecy with her two sons in August 1888 on a three-wheel horseless vehicle from Pforzheim and drove to Mannheim. With this invention, made by her husband Carl, she undertook the first ever long distance journey in a motorised vehicle.
